Thanksgiving

So much going on lately.....where to begin.......

Been spending a lot of time with Steve. Things are going well.

Declin (my nephew) is growing like crazy.....and learning so much. He is way too cute.

I have also been hanging out with Ben.....A LOT. Fun times. 2 Simmons together always equal hours of entertainment and laughs. lol

Friday evening, I am going to see Brandon Rhyder at Gilley's in Dallas. I can't wait!!!!! It's been way to long since I have been to a BR show. I am so excited.

Thanksgiving will be fun. Going to lunch at Stephanie and Johnny's this year.

I am thankful for many things. Life, Family, Friends, God. What are you thankful for?

Amber world

Things have been crazy in Amber world lately. Been staying pretty busy. Finding interest in someone I never expected. We will see where things go. So far, so good. I am excited to see where things go.

The holidays are coming up. Birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Holiday parties. Fun times!

Declin

I got to see Declin today.....he can make anyone smile. His personality is so funny. He is an entertainer for sure. I love that little boy more than anything.

sad times

Today, I experienced something that I never want to go through or see again. I watched a friend of 20 years, bury her child. Her precious angel that didn't even get to experience our world for a full 24 hours. A beautiful newborn baby. It was the hardest thing I have ever seen or done in my life. Ever. I can't even imagine the heartbreak and sorrow that the Pannell family is going through. The sorrow and sadness and anger that is to come. I just know from my personal feelings that I am angered with the fact that a precious baby could be taken from our world without even getting a chance to see anything outside of the hospital. She was a beautiful, beautiful little girl. So doll-like looking today. She was precious. My heart and my prayers go out to this family.

What I did learn from this experience today, is that my network of friends is absolutely amazing. These are people I have known anywhere from 10 to 20 years. These are people that without fail, will re-unite for weddings and funerals. These are people that have my back no matter what. These are people that I can rely on. These are a group of people that will do anything for "our group". Even after years of growing up and changing and moving on with life, they are still some of my best friends to the end. I don't see these people near enough. So to Patty, Katie, Kevin, Sherry, Brandon, Tiana, April, Tina, and Jeremy (forgive me if I left anyone off)......I love you guys...unconditionally.....and until the end.

Ok.....I am going to cry some more and go to sleep.

The Pannell/Lozano family is in my prayers. I love you Patty. God Bless.

catching up and praying.

I think that some prayers should be said today.....for each person, for our country, for loss, for happiness, for truth, for everything.

First, a long time friend of mine, Patty, and her husband lost their newborn baby last night. She was only hours old and they had to make the decision to disconnect life support. I can't even imagine what they are going through. They are certainly in my prayers.

Second, for my family that is going through some tough times right now. They need the strength to overcome what is being put before them and to move forward with these HUGE changes in their lives.

Also, I said in my last post that I am cutting relationships/friendships out of my life that are hurtful or harmful, I meant this. I have begun this process. Some hurt, some don't. Some are a huge relief off my shoulders, others aren't. It will all work out in the end as planned though. God is good.

Alot has been going on lately. I went to NASCAR on Sunday with some friends....Mark, Ulysses, Morgan, Rachel, Dan, Courtney, and Cody. It was a surprisingly good time. I am not a NASCAR fan.....but it was a blast.

This weekend, I am going to some dirt track races.

Nov 23, I am having a Pampered Chef party with Rachel hosting it. YAY!

Just a lot going on lately and a lot of thinking being done.
