My long Thanksgiving weekend

We were quite busy this 4-5 days off.

Wednesday night, we met some friends at Toadies for happy hour. Always fun times.

Thursday, I got up and made the corn casserole, then we went to Stephanie and Johnny's house. It was a ton of fun like always. My new niece Faith is getting so big.

Friday, we went to tour the apt we had been thinking of getting. then I made chicken spaghetti and we went to Nicki's house for a Sing Star sing off. lol

Saturday night, we went to Cowboys Arlington to see Neal McCoy with my brother, Mandy, Bo, Debbi, Chad, and Sheila. It was so much fun. I had no idea that Neal McCoy is a great entertainer. He is so funny.

Sunday was spent lounging around, doing laundry and watching Dexter. I am hooked on this show. We are trying to catch up on all the seasons. We are on Season 2 now.

Thanksgiving week!!!!!!!!!!

Hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend. This past weekend was great.

Friday night, Ben and I had dinner with his Dad (it was my first time meeting his Dad). It was a really good time. then I went to Cory's housewarming party and Ben stayed with his Dad.

Saturday, Ben and I went apartment hunting. We found one we really like and can't wait to start that new journey. Saturday night, we went to Talia and Mitchell's joint birthday party. It was a good time.

Sunday, we went to Church, hung out with my Mom and David for a bit, then home for a nap, laundry, cleaning, and cooking dinner.

I am excited for Thanksgiving. All the yummy food. Family time. Can't wait!

Today, I am thankful for lots:

~my wonderful Bible study girls that seem to just get me.
~my boyfriend who becomes more amazing everyday
~my job and bosses that are great
~the roof over my head, the car I drive
~the nieces and nephews that can make me smile anyday, no matter what
~my Mom, who is and always will be one of my very best friends

Drama.....

Lately it seems that everyone has drama. Maybe its this time of the year that stresses people out, maybe its immature people, maybe everyone woke up on the wrong side of the bed.....regardless of the reason, you can choose to NOT have that drama or negative attitude in your life. And that's what I choose.

So, since Thanksgiving is right around the corner, I think it's time to pick up "things I am grateful/thankful for" again and post daily on here.


Today I am grateful/thankful for:

~my job and the opportunities they are giving me to advance.
~my boyfriend and his love
~the roof over my head
~the family I have even though they sometimes drive me crazy

I also think that I will start adding a quote or two just for fun.

I am sad to say that we have lost someone very near and dear to my family. RIP Gertie Mae Boudreaux. We love you and you will be missed. Say hello to Grandma and Grandpa for me!
